Primary Headteacher

The Board of Directors is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, forward-looking and inspirational Primary Headteacher, for January 2022, or later for the right candidate. This post will offer a real opportunity for the appointed person to make his/her mark on a school which has high educational standards, a firm commitment to open-minded, independent learning, and very well- behaved pupils who are keen to learn.

The person appointed will have:

  • a degree and a UK, or equivalent, teaching qualification
  • sound experience of leadership and management
  • a positive attitude to innovation and change
  • the ability to work co-operatively and effectively in a senior leadership team
  • a proven track record of outstanding classroom practice in the primary phase
  • the expertise to analyse and use data meaningfully to enhance pupil progress
  • highly effective technology and communication skills
The Latham School is a high performing international school in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania with two campuses. We are a private School, which offers a British international curriculum. We are an authorised Cambridge international School. Nursery and Reception Children follow the Early Years Foundation Stage programme. This is followed by the English National Curriculum.
